Following the success of the “Creating  Sustainable Lives Conference” which discussed personalisation from a family perspective, Leap are delighted to welcome Caroline Tomlinson back to Ireland to run an interactive Planning Live session for people with disabilities, their families and supporters.

After the event many people asked the question…”what do I do now?”

Planning Live gives you and your family member the opportunity to come together and focus on what a good future looks like for you all. You will get the opportunity to think creatively about the actions you might need to take to get there. This interactive training embraces personalisation and will show you just what is possible.

The day will feature…

  • inspirational stories,
  • interactive sessions
  • creative ways to get you thinking “out of the box” in order to support yourself or your family member or friend towards an inclusive life in the community.

You will leave the session with your own personal action plan that you and your supporters can work on implementing.

Who should come?

Any person with support needs who wants to think about how to move themselves closer to their vision of a good life. They should bring with them a team of one or more supporters made up of family members, friends and service workers who want to support the person to achieve the life they want in their community. Ideally bring the people who support you and your family well and who will be there to support you to implement your action plan when you leave.

What age do I have to be?

This event supports people with disabilities from 16 to adult and their family, friends and paid people.

Cost: 30 euro per person (45 euro for staff of service providers) includes tea/ coffee, lunch.
