Bobby Noone of CRU http://www.cru.org.au/ will present CRU’s new DVD ‘Together in Partnership’ which features three Queensland organisations Lifestyle Options Inc, Homes West Association and Kalpana. In these organisations the authority and Governance is held by either people with disability themselves, in conjunction with their supporters or through their family members. These short films describe their history over the past two decades and, through personal stories, illustrate how these governance structures have enabled people to live in their own homes in communities of their choice.
Bobby will also share her own experience as the parent of two women who live with disability.
